We spent the day in Foix with some friends. Their two daughters, Gwen and Abigail, are about the same ages as our kids. We went for a short hike, followed by a picnic at the best playground we've seen in France, and lastly we explored the castle.
The highlight for the kids was watching a couple of men catch fish from this bridge over the river. Alister and Gwen applauded when the first fish was caught. It was a bit hard for Clara to keep her head up but she had a nice shoulder to lean on.
