We travelled to another one of the Cathar castles for a hike. We parked two villages away and followed a walk (2.3 miles) to get to the base of the castle. Alister was a champion, walking the whole way. It took just over two hours to get there. (Incidentally, Rob ran back to bring the car up to the castle and it took 25 minutes.) We then climbed up to the top to explore the ruins and take in the amazing view.
