It's hard to believe but we dropped Alister off for his first day at school! They start early here in France, the year they turn three. Sure it's designed for young ones but it's still real school, run by the government, and they take it very seriously. The kids this age can go all day, five days a week but Alister will only go three mornings a week, 8:30 to 11:30. He is in the "Coccinelle" class, which means ladybug. It's a French school so hopefully he will not be too confused and will pick up some French pretty quickly. Talk about immersion!

(Sorry for the blurry picture. We were the only ones taking photos and were embarrassed to take too many.)
