back to the dordogne

Thursday, June 26th to Sunday, June 29th, 2008

We headed back to the Dordogne with some friends, Amy and Manu and their boys, Joseph and Oscar. Manu's parents have a lovely old farmhouse that they are restoring. It was a very relaxing weekend. We visited a local chateau, explored the nearby town of Brantome and took some short walks around the area.
Before this holiday, we never understood why so many Brits wanted to relocate to the french countryside. Now, we get it.

By the way, Alister managed to fall into the river once again, this time while feeding the ducks.
