While Rob and his mother climbed a huge mountain, Karen took the kids around Keswick for the day. We went to the Cumberland Pencil Museum, outside the factory where the very first pencil was made.
Then we fed the ducks.
Alister took in the view. 
I've had worse views while feeding Clara.
Finally, we went to the most civilized playground on the planet.
