We've done it! The house is sold, the car is sold, the boxes are packed and we are on our way to Europe. We will certainly miss Australia - our wonderful friends and a fantastic place to live - but will be glad to say goodbye to the extrordinary heat, deadly snakes and having to drive an hour to buy a decent pair of shoes. On to the next adventure!
Our flight to the US went very well. Business class really is the way to travel, when the company is willing to pay. Alister was a little champion. We also had a brush with Australian celebrity, sharing the airplane with none other than Grant Denyer, former Sunrise weatherman and winner of Dancing with the Stars Season 4.
